Working with Kimberly is an unforgettable experience. I have trained in coaching, participated in numerous masterminds and facilitation groups, but Kimberly surpassed everyone. It’s amazing how she managed to hold the group’s 100% attention for two hours and unlock superpowers in each of us. We played games, goofed around, dreamed, thought, solved puzzles, experimented, showed vulnerability and courage—it was a unique experience that undoubtedly made my life better.

Moreover, based on an insight I gained from the mastermind, I wrote a story for a speech at the Toastmasters club, where I am currently learning public speaking skills. This story deeply resonated with the audience—I received many comments about how it was exactly what some people needed to hear to keep moving forward.

At the start of 2023, my dear friend Kimberly invited me to a creative afternoon at her lovely home in Redwood City. We spent an hour browsing through used magazines, tearing out images and words that resonated with us—whether visually compelling or personally meaningful. Then, we spent another hour spontaneously assembling these pieces into a vision board, guided by Kimberly’s encouragement to let our unconscious minds shape the outcome, free from any pre-planned ideas.

To my delight, the theme that emerged on my board centered around music, performing arts, healing, mental health, and nature. Kimberly then inspired me to transform these unconscious desires into bold dreams and tangible goals, no matter how wild they seemed: performing at various venues, enrolling in professional jazz programs, hosting a personal concert, starting a YouTube channel, releasing albums, and even earning an award. Reflecting on the past 18 months, I’m amazed by how many of these dreams have already come to life:

• Studying jazz in New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz.
• Graduating from the Voice Program at Stanford Jazz Institute.
• Launching my YouTube channel (@HonoluluMailman) and approaching 500 followers.
• Hosting my first-ever concert at Clarion Performing Arts Center in San Francisco.
• Singing and jamming at over 20 venues across the Bay Area, NYC, and New Orleans, alongside top-tier musicians with credentials from the Juilliard School of Music, SFJazz, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

I’m also in awe of the many like-minded friends I’ve attracted in the fields of music performance, music education, expressive art therapy, music technology, and music business since creating this vision board. It has truly affirmed for me that when we access our unconscious mind, visualize our dreams, take consistent action, and commit to our vision, we can achieve what once seemed impossible.

This vision board will undoubtedly accompany me wherever I go next, serving as a constant reminder of the power within us to manifest our deepest aspirations.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone who is hoping to get unstuck in building their personal value system or life vision to attend a session from Kimberly. Given how this methodology has successfully helped me launch my journey as a Jazz Vocalist, I’m surely going to leverage the same methodology to empower myself to carve out other visions of mine, such as a career in Product Marketing Management, Floral Art, and Music Therapy.
